This Privacy Policy explains how Pluspoint Sportsa (“Sportsa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit sportsaglobal.com, sportsa.in, or sportsaindia.org (together, the “Sites”), interact with our contact and enquiry forms, or purchase a course through our learning management system at sportsa.learningwiz.in(the “LMS”). By using the Sites or the LMS, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We aim to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”) applicable in India, and to follow good-practice principles consistent with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors browsing from the EU/EEA, where applicable.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and enquiry form data: when you submit a form on our Sites (for example a school, corporate, or general enquiry form), we collect your name, email address, institution/organisation name, and the message you submit, along with any optional details you choose to add (such as phone number).
  • Course purchase and enrolment data: if you enrol in or purchase a course via the LMS, our LMS partner (learningwiz) and, where applicable, our payment gateway collect information such as your name, email, phone number, educational background, and payment details necessary to process your enrolment. We do not store full card or payment credential details on our own servers.
  • Usage and analytics data: when you browse the Sites, we automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on pages, using cookies and analytics tools including Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
  • Cookie preferences:we store your cookie-consent choice (accepted or declined) in your browser’s local storage so we can respect your preference on future visits.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact forms.
  • To process course enrolments and payments via the LMS and our payment gateway.
  • To send transactional communications such as enrolment confirmations and receipts.
  • To send occasional updates about programmes, courses, or events, where you have opted in — you may unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how visitors use our Sites, using aggregated analytics (GA4), so we can improve content and user experience.

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics 4, to understand site usage and improve performance. On your first visit, a cookie-consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; your choice is stored locally in your browser.   • Our LMS provider (learningwiz, at sportsa.learningwiz.in) to deliver course access and manage your student account.

  • Service providers who help us operate the Sites (e.g. hosting, email delivery, analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Contact form submissions and enquiry data are typically retained for 24 months unless a longer period is required by law or you request earlier deletion.

8. Children’s privacy

Our Sites are intended for schools, educators, coaches, and institutional decision-makers. Where course content or enquiry forms are completed by or on behalf of students under 18, we rely on the involved school, institution, or parent/guardian to have obtained appropriate consent before submitting personal information on the student’s behalf.

9. Third-party links

Our Sites and the LMS may contain links to third-party websites (including sportsaindia.org, payment gateways, and social media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

10. International visitors

While Sportsa primarily operates in India, our Sites may be accessed globally. Where our SIO offering serves visitors from the EU/EEA, we aim to handle personal data consistent with GDPR principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, and data minimisation, in addition to our obligations under Indian law.
